Whole Motherhood embraces a healthy pregnancy, empowered birth and postpartum journey, raising healthy babies and holistic parenting. Having my own children solidified my devotion to supporting other women as they navigate their journey through motherhood. My purpose is to provide the knowledge and tools necessary to help mothers and babies thrive during this incredibly important stage of their lives. I truly believe in making informed and educated parenting decisions around pivotal issues such as childbirth, breastfeeding, wellness, vaccination, nutrition, communication, discipline, and education, just to name a few. I am raising awareness of alternatives and holistic options that may differ from conventional choices in order to make an informed choice that best suits my family and my personal values, and I invite and educate other to do the same.
While I respect the man paths of healing both holistic and conventional, I believe in participating in our own healing process when we’re out of balance; using minimally invasive healthcare modalities to help the body and spirit heal, I am also a huge advocate for embracing attachment parenting techniques (including baby-wearing, extended breastfeeding, co-sleeping, and positive discipline).
As a mother to 5 children it is important for me to balance and integrate the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of being the sole caretaker. using the principles of WHOLENESS like I sated above, along with healthy eating, green and non-toxic living, regular exercise, natural healing, stress reduction, non-violent communication — to create a balanced life for my entire family.
